What I’ve Read – February 2024

Mar 1, 2024 | What I've Read

Welcome to March. This year is just flying by. Even with the extra day, February felt like it was too short!

Much of the last couple of weeks was spent writing a book (that’s a whole other post), so not a lot of time for curling up with a book. My iPad is also in for repairs, so many of the picture books I would have read weren’t accessible to me.

This is what I read during February:

  • All About Dragons by Izzy Quinn – this was a picture book I bought a while ago and rediscovered it during my clearing up with some new bookshelves. A fun book for a dragon lover.
  • Andy & Ghost Boy by Karen Tyrrell. A book about being anxious, bullying, settling into a new school, and working out who you are.
  • Hannah & the Bugbear Prince by Tom Steephen. An adventure book for kids.
  • Bindi Wildlife Adventures: Rescue! by Bindi Irwin. A book for kids that I picked up in a free book pile at the local library
  • Back on Track by Tricia Stringer. One of the books I bought myself for Christmas & really enjoyed this story.
  • The Duchess by Wendy Holden. An audiobook that tells a fictional story about Wallis Simpson.
  • Frankie Dupont and the Science Fair Sabotage by Julie Anne Grasso. A fun mystery for kids, the third in the series.

I have to admit that having new bookshelves & sorting out books is helping me find some that I hadn’t read yet, and that’s pretty cool. I currently have a few books on the go, and the audiobook I was listening to on my iPad is likely to expire before I get it back, so I’ll have to reborrow it on its return.

I hope you had a great month for reading too.
