What I’ve Read – April 2017

I did it! I finished reading Winter by Marissa Meyer during April! I thought it was taking ages, though I had friends comment on how quickly I finished it!

I also had the joy to read Looking Glass Lies by Varina Denman. This is a powerful story that deals with issues of body image, domestic violence, mental illness, and much more. There were many moments that hit close to home, but it was well worth the read.

Silk by Alessandro Baricco was one book that had been sitting on my TBR pile for a long time. I can’t believe it took me so long to read this! It was a fascinating story.

Daddy Long Legs by Jean Webster is a book I have read before, and I finished reading Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Women of Letters, another Christmas gift that I have been reading on and off all year. I would read a letter or two in between other books.

In the last couple of days, I’ve started reading How to Write Short Romance Kindle Books by Nina Harrington as I’m working on a few short romance books. I should finish this one soon.
