Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod – 2018

Sep 18, 2018 | Blog

We moved to the Latrobe Valley a few months ago. Since moving, I’ve been spreading the word that I’m now an author local to the area.

Last week, I donated copies of my books to the Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod as encouragement awards for the Speech and Drama section.

All the students who participated in the Eisteddfod did a fantastic job, and, from the photos on the Eisteddfod Facebook Page, the students were pleased with their awards.

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Eisteddfod, and to all the winners. This is an amazing opportunity for students to gain confidence performing in front of an audience. It’s fantastic that this eisteddfod is not just about music and has an opportunity for kids who are into drama to have an opportunity to shine.

The Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod continues this weekend with the Dance section.
