What I’ve Read – June 2023

Jul 1, 2023 | What I've Read

We are now halfway through the year. I don’t know about you, but this year is going by way too quickly. This was another month with a mix of fiction and non-fiction books, audio books, ebooks and print books.

Here are the books I read during June:

  • The Dad Break by Poe Avondet & Abbey Bryant – a picture book I bought for my dad for Father’s Day. He’ll get it closer to the day (his birthday is in August, so it may be a joint gift)
  • The Wizard in my Shed by Simon Farnaby – a middle grade book I gave my nephew for his birthday or Christmas a few years ago that I borrowed back. This was a really fun story
  • Keeping up Appearances by Tricia Stringer – an audiobook. I really enjoyed this story that looks at the lives of a number of women living in a small town in Australia
  • What I Mean When I Say I’m Autistic by Annie Kotowicz – the latest in my exploration about autism and another good book that explains a lot about how my brain works
  • I Will Always Be Enough by Kristi Estes and Ched Aromin – a picture book that I got in a free ebook download that has a lovely message for kids that they are perfect the way they are
  • Pippin’s Country Adventure by Julia Seaborn – another picture book that I downloaded and another fun story for kids

I am currently listening to Last Chance Books by Kelsey Rodkey, a YA book, as well as trying to decide what book to read next!

I hope June was a great month for books for you too.
