One Prompt, Multiple Stories

We had a lot of fun in Virtual Writers Group last week, and came up with a fun challenge for participants.

Starting this week, we are going to start a series of sessions where we look at using one prompt to write multiple stories.

Why are we doing this?

We wanted to try something different. During 2020 and 2021, I ran multiple writers group sessions a week, often using the same prompt. This meant that I challenged myself to write something different each time. I also experimented with using a single prompt of ‘The White Dress’ to write multiple stories.

Using a single prompt to write multiple stories can be a challenge and is a lot of fun. We will start doing this on Friday and continue for a few weeks, with each week looking at a different way to use the writing prompt.
