What I’ve Read – February 2022

Mar 1, 2022 | What I've Read

Welcome to March! This year is flying by. While there haven’t been any lockdowns, the world seems to be going crazy with war and floods… books have been a great way for me to get a little bit of an escape from it all.

I have been able to read two more from my initial pile of six books from my To Be Read shelves, and have started the last one. This means I’ll need to choose some more books soon.

Diary of a Crap Housewife by Jessica Rowe was a fascinating read. It’s one that caught my eye in a bookshop, probably because I’m a crap housewife too! The Single Mum’s Book Club by Victoria Cooke was an enjoyable read. It was a fun romance featuring three interesting characters.

I’ve read a pile of picture books, and I’ll include a full list in another post. A couple that I really enjoyed were 24 Absolutely, Totally True Facts about Penguins by Adam Wallace and James Hart, this was laugh out loud funny and had a lot of fabulous facts, and The Story of 2020 by Nicole Connellan and Selina Chuo, a great summary of life during 2020. I picked up both of these at the Red Hill Market.

I have also started listening to audiobooks again, and have started listening to Instant Karma by Marissa Meyer.

My current count of books is 20 for the year.

How is your reading going?
