What I’ve Read – April 2020

May 1, 2020 | What I've Read

All of April was spent in social isolation. It’s been strange for everyone and I know I’m not the only one who is feeling a mix of being settled and safe, and climbing the walls just wanting to get out of the house!

I haven’t got as much reading as I was hoping to get done, but there were books consumed and my TBR pile went down rather than up.

Audiobooks are still my go-to for when I’m doing housework. I listened to Toffle Towers: The Great River Race by Tim Harris and Does My Head Look Big In This by Randa Abdel-Fattah. These are both great Australian reads and I recommend them both to you.

I read the new YA novel from Teena Raffa-Mulligan, Monelli and Me, another great read. Kitty Flanagan’s 488 Rules for Life was also a lot of fun that was the perfect read for a crazy month.

I’m about half way through listening to Cilka’s Journey by Heather Morris and Born-Again Blakfella by Jack Charles. I’m really enjoying these too.

I hope you’ve found some time for reading.
