What I’ve Read – November 2021

Can you believe it’s December 1 already? I realised that at some point during November, I passed my goal of reading 50 books this year! Now we’ll see how many books I read before the end of the year.

I discovered the Short Stack Reading Challenge during December, the aim is to read some short books during December. It looks like fun, especially given I do read a lot of short books… plus I have a new picture book or two I’ve been saving.

Now, on to the books I read during November.

I finished The Five Year Plan by Jodi Gibson. It was a great read, set in both Melbourne and Italy. If you’re looking for a light, fun story, this is one to read.

Looking through my bookshelf for a different book, I came across The Final Siren by Nicki Edwards. It’s the first in a trilogy and it’s been sitting there for over a year! I really enjoyed this book, set in regional Victoria.

Two Houses by Frieda Parks is a picture book that I read with a free download. It’s a cute book about a girl who has two houses, one for her mum & one for her dad.

The last book I finished during November was Pony on the Twelfth Floor by Polly Faber. I listened to this fun chapter book on audiobook.

I also started reading Second Chance Christmas by Nicki Edwards, which has also been on my TBR pile for way too long. It’s nearly finished, and I’m enjoying this book that is set mostly in Canada.

What have you read during November?
