What I’ve Read – May 2018

Jun 1, 2018 | What I've Read

Can you believe it’s June already? The year is half over. So far I’ve read 39 books for the GoodReads challenge… only 11 to go. I really think I need to increase my goal for the year.

I read three books during May, although I have a couple on the go that I’ve started but haven’t finished yet.

The first book was an audiobook. I have been driving to and from Traralgon from Melbourne quite a bit lately. I borrowed The Good Thief’s Guide to Amsterdam by Chris Ewan. This is a whodunnit with a twist as the main character is a thief and writes crime novels!

The two books I’ve finished reading are both middle grade books: Cinnamon Stevens: Crimebuster by Pauline Hosking and You Choose: Footy Fever by George Ivanoff. I have a full review of Cinnamon Stevens here.

It’s been years since I’ve read a Choose Your Own Adventure style book, and I’m not all that into sport, however I enjoyed the different options in the You Choose book I read.

While not many books were finished, there have been a few that I started and hope to finish during June.

What books did you read during May?
