What I’ve Read – March 2019

March was a challenging month on the reading front due to some health issues that impact my eyes, making reading harder than I like it to be. Most of the books I read were picture books and shorter novels.

My nephews introduced me to Piranhas Don’t Eat Bananas by Aaron Blabey. I read most of the book, my five year old nephew read me his favourite pages. He’s in Prep and learning to read. Sharing this book with him made this book even more enjoyable.

I also read The Crocodile who Found His Smile by HancyPancy, The Book that Never Ends by Matt & Beck Stanton, and The Strongest Boy by Renee Irving Lee. The last two books I also shared with my nephews, it was a lot of fun.

As well as these picture books, I read Blood Crystal by Jeanette O’Hagan. Book 3 in this series will be available as a print book soon and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy.

I started a couple of different novels, but progress is very slow. I’m hoping that the issue with my eyes will be sorted out very soon as I’ve been suffering withdrawal from reading books!

What did you read during March?
