What I’ve Read – July 2017

Aug 1, 2017 | What I've Read

My son was in hospital for much of this month, meaning most of my time was spent between hospital and work. When I was home, I was too tired to do much reading!

I read a fun picture book eBook called A Shark in the Park by Mark Watson. This is an indie published picture book that I heard about in one of my writer’s groups on Facebook.

The other book I read was A Summer at Sea by Katie Fford. Katie Fforde is an author I enjoy reading when I want a light book that is full of escapism. I enjoyed this story, though there were a few scenes that didn’t quite ring true. Thankfully this didn’t take away from my enjoyment of a light book full of escapism.
