Digby's Moon Mission

Digby’s Moon Mission

I’ve bought quite a few books lately. Most of them are Christmas gifts, so I can’t tell you what they are until after Christmas as I know some of the recipients read this blog.

The latest book I’ve bought for my own enjoyment is Digby’s Moon Mission by Renee Price. I met Renee online in the “Just Write for Kids” Facebook group and we were running our crowdfunding campaigns around the same time. The book arrived in the post a couple of weeks ago.

Digby’s Moon Mission is a delightful story about a boy named Digby who is concerned when it’s dark at night and the moon is just a little sliver. He comes up with a plan to make the moon fat again. While my kids are past the “sitting with Mum reading picture book” stage, I have enjoyed reading this book to my nephews. My boys have both picked up the book and really enjoyed it.

I purchased this book through Renee’s crowdfunding campaign, but you can find out more about Digby’s Moon Mission on her Facebook page.
