Publishing Mentoring
Does this sound like you? You are wanting to self publish. You have written your book and you have all the files, however the thought of uploading them to Ingram Spark or KDP feels overwhelming?
Whether your book is a picture book, novel, or non-fiction, the process of uploading your files to Ingram Spark for print on demand can feel all too much.
I am here to help.
I have published nearly 15 books using Ingram Spark for the print copies including hardcover and paperback, picture books, middle grade books, and non-fiction books. I’m also AuDHD and know that sometimes processes can be overwhelming and it’s helpful to have someone else do the thing for you.
School Visits
Melissa is available to speak in Primary and Secondary schools about the power of creative writing and reading for mental health. Sessions can be tailored to fit in with the needs of the school and can be based on any of her books. Her most popular presentation is based on My Mummy is Evil!
Presentations can be face to face or virtual.
Writing Workshops
Writing groups are fun activities for participants. These are an opportunity for writers from 8 to adult to play with creative writing and let their imagination soar. Each session includes a fun writing activity and encourages the participants to write in any style or genre, basically have fun with creativity.
These are perfect activities for libraries, schools, and organisations looking for a fun and creative activity for mental health.
Regular groups currently run in Mt Waverley, Sale, Maffra, and Traralgon.
Parent Sessions
If you would like to know how to support your neurodivergent child enjoy reading and creative writing, and support them in their goals to be a published author, Melissa runs parent sessions to share strategies she used, both as a neurodivergent child and with her own children, as well as the young writers she has worked with over the years.
She is available to run sessions for your school or organisation as well as having webinars and face to face sessions that are open to everyone to attend.
