Is there a place you go that inspires you to write more, or that just helps you get into the mood to write?

This is much cleaner than my loungeroom right now!

I must admit that most nights I sit on the couch in my lounge room with my laptop to write. This has more to do with practicality than inspiration. I dream of having a house with a writing retreat of some sort so I can escape into the World of my mind… but that is down the track. I enjoy browsing Pinterest & similar sites for the writing nook of other authors.

Now, I was going to take a picture of my couch, but right now we are doing a major sort out of junk in the house, so it’s all a bit messy. Maybe I’ll share a photo when everything is sorted out.

I’ve also been known to pack up my laptop and head to a cafe for the day to write, though I will write wherever I can. I’ve been known to be sitting at school pick up with a notebook on my lap and a pen in my hand.
