Having a blog – this one!

Jan 18, 2012 | Blog

After telling a friend about my Facebook post, I thought I’d follow up with a post about this blog.

I have been blogging for years. My first blogs no longer exist, but it is something I have been doing since before it became a popular thing to do – be a Mummy blogger. Although, to be fair, my topic was business tips for business mums instead of about parenting.

Last year, I created this blog as my “author blog”. I’m an unpublished author and my dream for years has been to change that status to published author.

One step was to create a following so people will know who I am. On this blog, I share my journey, snippets of my writing, ask for ideas and suggestions when I get stuck, and also observations on writing and publishing, and anything else related to my dream.

I have some amazing people reading this blog, adding their comments, thoughts and suggestions as well as encouragement on my journey.

Having a blog is also somewhere to send people to if they are interested in what I’m doing.

I am looking forward to the day when I can come on here and announce my first book is being published!
