Happy Birthday to Me!
Today is my birthday. I was born on 3rd October, 1977.
A few years ago, my older son, Mr N, asked me when I was born (he was born in 2002). I told him the year, and he replied: “Wow Mummy, you are over 1000 years old!” Cheeky monkey.
For me, every birthday is a special day, not just the big ones. I love having a day that is about me. This is has become more important than ever since I became a Mum. This year, we will be on holidays on the Gold Coast in Queensland. I’ve already budgeted to take us all out to dinner somewhere so that I don’t have to cook.
I’m sure it’s going to be a wonderful day.
