Eyeglasses on Open Book

What genre to read?

Most of the books I’ve been reading lately are either historical fiction or books with a more realistic setting, that is not including picture books that seem to come in many different styles.

Recently, I found myself reading a number of children’s novels (chapter books and middle grade books) about children who play Australian Rules Football – a genre I never thought I’d be reading! This is in preparation for the Chapter Book Challenge that starts on 1 March as the book idea I have for that is about a child who doesn’t like playing football.

I am curently reading The Book Theif by Markus Zusak that I received for Christmas. I’m enjoying it so far.

If you’re interested in seeing some of the other books I’ve read lately, visit my GoodReads profile. I add books there as I remember to update the list.
