What I’ve read – June 2020

Jul 1, 2020 | What I've Read

Lockdown continues, and, once again, picture books and audiobooks played a big part in my reading.

I enjoyed listening to Three Wishes by Liane Moriarty. I enjoyed this one more than The Husband’s Secret. I started listening to A Witch Alone by James Nicol, the follow up book to The Apprentice Witch.

Three picture books were read, including Edward and the Great Discovery by Rebecca McRitchie & Celeste Hulme, My Perfect Pup by Sue Walker & Anil Tortop, and Ash Dresses Her Friends by Fu Wenzhang. I received these books as part of the publishing package from New Frontier Publishing. If you are an author and looking to submit, it’s worth getting this package. I purchased a package a number of years ago when I first got into writing, and getting an updated pack has been useful as things can change in the World of kidlit publishing.

I hope you were able to get some reading done during June. I’m hoping I can get more reading done during July.
