Ideas for a new book

Ideas for a new book

This is a timely question as the Chapter Book Challenge Lite is just beginning. I’ve got a few ideas buzzing around in my head right now, just need need settle on the one to focus on this month, as well as promoting my crowdfunding project.

One idea is turning a play I wrote when I was at high school into a YA novel. This play won an award and has potential to be a great book. There are parts that need to be expanded and developed for a novel as there are things you can’t include in a play.

Another idea is to write a book about a kid who has chronic fatigue. We’ve been searching for a book on this topic, but haven’t found one yet (if you know of any, please let me know).

A third idea is a story about a kid who has no friends at school and is fine with it, even though everyone else is worried that he has no friends.

A fourth idea is to write something completely different. I have a few ideas for new books in the Green Oaks Primary School series, some have been started and this is the perfect opportunity to complete them.

As always, I’m working on more than one idea, and ChaBooCha Lite is the push I need to focus on one of them and get them done.
