What I’ve Read – February 2017

Mar 1, 2018 | What I've Read

February is always a slower month for reading, and this year was no exception. Life was getting back to normal with school, work, after school activities, and more. This year, my older son was in hospital for a week, giving me less time for reading than I would like.

I started the month reading Evan’s Gallipoli by Kerry Greenwood. I love her Phryne Fisher books and this book has been sitting on our bookshelf for ages. It’s set in World War 1 and written in the style of a diary.

For a quick read, I read Pig Dude Michael Wagner by and shared it with my nephews. One of them is starting school this year and will be able to read Pig Dude by himself very soon.

I also started reading The Chocolate Promise by Josephine Moon. I really enjoyed reading The Tea Chest last year, and reading a book about chocolate is always appealing. I didn’t quite finish it during February, but it’s nearly done.
