Experiencing writer’s block

This is easy – yes, I do experience writer’s block.

Often when I experience writer’s block, there are other factors at play, such as being unwell, overwhelmed by life, have sick kids, or there are other things happening that mean I struggle to focus on my writing.

To overcome writer’s block, often I just need to step away from the computer and do something else for a while to clear my head. I’ll go for a walk, have a play with my kids and nephews, do some housework (if I’m really desperate!), or have a rest. Som

etimes the writer’s block is fairly mild so working on something else will help shift the block on that particular piece of writing.

I’ve found the key to writer’s block is to step away for a while and come back with fresh eyes so I can keep going with my story.
